Ritual de Fille is the fith brand that i am going to explore for my university course, this is a makeup brand which is really unique and reflects a magical nature. The brand was discovered by three sisters who's inspirations came from natural ingredients and the 'ritualistic, ceremonial power pigment'.
I particularly love the branding on Ritual de Fille, because it is unusual for a makeup brand and reflects a magical appearance and also a witchcraft, potion making vibe. I love how they keep the colour palette to match their brand story because it all combines together to present a really clear concept.
The brand shows clear morales which captures the true essence of the brand. They are all about natural products which are "handcrafted without parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes or synthetic fragrances. They never test on animals, and only source their raw materials from companies that are also 100% cruelty free." In my opinion i think that this shows that the brand has a clear story and mission and by being natural, environmentally friendly and animal friendly it makes it more attractive and appealing to purchase from.
I think that the brands consumer is someone who is interested in being environmentally friendly and kind to the universe. Their consumer would also be interested in the quality of beauty brands- investing in higher end makeup as opposed to drugstore makeup. The brand says that they approach their formulation of the products as if they were making potions! Ritual de Fille carefully select each pigment, oil and wax for a clear purpose, and develop each color from the ground up to contain the fewest possible ingredients. They say that they 'use nothing extraneous, and avoid fillers. This attention to detail creates intense color while maintaining velvety textures.'.
The brand is focused on equality and diversity, being careful to stock makeup that suits all skin types and colour. I think that this is really important in this day and age, especially since their has been a huge development on makeup brands striving for equality in recent years. Brands such as Rihanna Fenty beauty, Kylie Cosmetics and many more have been concocting shades that range from the palest colours to the darkest shades- particularly in foundations and concealers.
Their products are sold on cult beauty which stock many higher end brands which are carefully selected. The website often one stocks the best and your brand should be high end and well established to be stocked online. I really trust cult beauty having been loyal to the brand for many years, therefore this gives me the feel that the brand must be of great quality and ethics.
