Adererror is the final brand in which i have been asked to research following up the summative brief of my university project. Adererror is a youth culture driven brand which is based mainly on fashion and simplicity. It is perceived as a streetwear brand which communicates a simple, minimalistic style which is still contemporary and innovative.
I think that this brand is really unique and i love the fact that it is a unisex brand, providing clothes for everyone- this is reflective from the founders who are a group of individuals from diverse backgrounds. The brand is equally purchased by men as it is women, despite the majority of the clothes being styled on women.
The initial webpage of the brand is styled around the instagram layout which shows that the brand is very social media driven- providing interesting content on their instagram page which is relevant to the brand and its consumer.
The brand is inspired by making content, the anonymous designers are influenced by making things that impress everyone and are equally inspiring to both sexes. They enjoy making images, videos, clothing and fashion.. they started with items that are easy to make such as sweatshirts, t-shirts, hoodies etc.. this was inspired by things that were closest to them.. following their brand slogan "but near missed things".
Their consumer is someone who is interested in streetwear, unisex clothing and not being afraid to express themselves through fashion. Adererror's clothing communicated on a simplistic, minimalist level, and the consumer would be inspired by the contemporary style of the brands deigns.
Overall i think that this brand is telling a good story- of making content which is relevant to everyone, providing unisex clothing and reflecting equality of the sexes and keeping intact with a contemporary streetwear style. I don't think that this brand particularly reflects by own style and i don't think i would necessarily buy into the brand, however i do like the branding and content on Adererrors instagram, campaigns and website. The brand is unique and innovative but i think i doesn't have obvious links to anything else other than youth culture and fashion from fashion.
