I was extremely taken a-back by this campaign, purely considering Missguided had been hiding away in the shadows for a while. Having being taken over considerably by Pretty Little Thing, i think this was the perfect comeback for the online retailer.

Missguided have just launched their 'Keep on being you' campaign in order to encourage people to love them selves for who they are. This campaign was made aware of when missguided used unedited images so sell their clothes. The images were bikini/underwear shots which presented a beautiful women with unedited stretch marks. The aim of this was to show girls that this is real life and that the idea of 'perfect' is unrealistic and merely does not exist.

Missguided said "We strive on female empowerment and we want all of our babes to #keeponbeingyou, celebrate what makes you unique, embrace your “flaws” and truly #MakeYourMark! We’re on a mission to inspire you to feel unashamedly confident in being yourself. Ignore the haters and always strive to be that little bit extra. Just be you babe, because there is no other way!"

The company pledged to never edit out their models flaws, because after all they aren't flaws- they are an important part of you! It seems to have empowered lots of girls- so hats off to misguided and i hope they keep up the fab work.
